J&AG Exclusive Fabric Mix

Moda is back at Fabric next week (March 2nd), taking over Room 2 with the Sound Pellegrino posse, Rinse's premier house don T Williams and, fresh from yet another US tour, the man they call Doorly

The mighty Jack Beats take over Room 1, whilst the brilliant Civil Music got things locked-down in Room 3.

To get your juices going we put together a mix exclusive for Fabric.

Yes List: Hot Since 82

Why we've not done this until now is anyones guess, but a name that should be way up high on your Yes List right now is Hot Since 82. If you've listened to any of our radio shows in the past 6 months you'll have heard us talking about this guy… and for good reason.

Radio 1 Movements

This April the Radio 1 In New DJ's We Trust format will change, along with various other movements at the station.

This means we'll be moving off the INDJ's slot (ahhhhh).... but fear not!!

We'll still be doing shows across the station, including covering for the likes of Pete Tong and Annie Nightingale.

A full breakdown of the movements can be seen here.

The first phase of the new INDJ roster features B Traits, Julio Bashmore, Moska and Jordan... Get ready!

J&AG Radio Show

For the next three weeks we're taking over Annie Nightingale's Radio 1 show. This week we got a special guestmix from Miguel Campbell and Matt Hughes aka MAM, asked Maceo Plex to pick his most treasured Playground Anthem, as well as all the best and freshest underground house and disco.

And fuck me sideways, there's only a language warning at the start. Edgy, huh?

Enjoy!

Space Invader: MANIK

We invade the personal space of the worlds best DJ's to find out what they're playing, what they're hiding and what they're eating... This week with NYC house don MANIK

What are your top five tracks of the moment?

1. John Talabot - So Will Be Now f. Pional

2. Vacationer - Trip

3. Earl Sweatshirt - Drop OFWGKTA

4. Roberto's re work of Rhythm of The Night.

Let's Talk About Daft Punk

As I'm sure you already know Nile Rogers announced earlier this week that he's collaborating with Daft Punk. The potential that this was just a rumour was quickly expelled and the world exhaled a sigh of relief, safe in the knowledge that one of the most important acts in modern dance have yet to hang up their helmets and disappear into a world of film scores and cinematography.

Camden Crawl: Moda Takeover

We hooked-up with the good people over at Camden Crawl for a quick chat about our plans for the Moda takeover on May 5th. We also put together a little package of Moda bits for them to give away!

Read the interview, enter the comp and check out the rest of the line-up and parties here

See you there :)

J&AG

Video: Mao

If you caught our Radio 1 show last week you'll have heard us premier a rather sweet new track from Mao. You will have also heard us contemplate the various pronunciation possibilities - though we're reliable informed it is pronounced 'mow'.

Jaymo & Andy George: Radio 1 Show

We were back on In New DJ's We Trust last week with loads of fresh new music plus a little chat with the dirtiest bird of them all Claude Von Stroke.

Moda Mix Series 8: Cosmic Kids

After getting lost in the moody, cavernous spaces of Reginald's Groove back in 2010 we've had our ears fixed firmly on LA's Cosmic Kids. Since then we've witnessed disco getting deeper and watched as Cosmic Kids continue to craft fine examples of this moodier, brooding new strain.
