One of my favourite dance records, off the top of my head, is actually the first LP on Full Cycle Records. The amazing VA album Music Box from 1996, with Roni Size, DJ Die, DJ Krust, Bill Riley and Scorpio.
It means a lot to me for so many great memories. Firstly, as well as just how much I still listen to this album, for me it's still some of the best drum and bass ever written! Its so simple and beautiful.
The cover on the record sleeve brings back amazing memories. I even think the smell of the vinyl brings back memories for me too haha. But it was a great time for me discovering drum and bass, which still influences my music so much today.
The standout track for me is Welcome The Drummer by Scorpio.
