Yes List: Amirali

They say there's a first time for everything and this weeks Yes List is no exception. Never before have we Yes Listed someone before their debut EP has even hit the shelves. Maybe we're in a good mood? Maybe it's the hearty whiff of optimism that lingers in the January air? Or maybe it's the fact that every time we hear the drop that follows the main break on Amirali's Beautiful World our bodies contort into the the worlds biggest goosebump before promptly drowning in a pool of our own serotonin. 

When that synth starts to growl I could probably die on the spot - and I'd die a happy man. Before getting to said sweet spot, the track teases you with undercurrents of electroclash, guitar licks, and futuristic pop. 

Amirali is Crosstown Rebels secret weapon for 2012. He's just finished an album. He belongs on your Yes List. Simple.
