After lead track ‘Two Tone Simms’ debuted on Annie Mac’s Radio 1 show, & then again on her live Essential Mix, the buzz around this EP has been insane! With Youtube clips & Myspace rips littering the net – its finally time for the real deal! The other two pieces two the puzzle are ‘Cannon’ and ‘Sling Shot’. ‘Cannon’ is simple and sublime as it teases with it’s thumping beats, lo-fi electro pulses and drum riffs. ‘Sling Shot’ fittingly closes in the best of ways.. it’s a raving loon condensed in grizzly bass and quite easily as thrilling as the other two mixes.

Tom Staar has a busy summer ahead. As well as his Ibiza residency for Moda (Friday’s at Eden) he is fast becoming the producer everyone wants to work with. Collaborations with Herve & Style Of Eye are nearing completion, with an EVEN BIGGER hook-up coming later this year.
