It must be two years since we first became friends with the guys at Darling Records. Our shared passion for seminal French house music, samples and loops meant we've always had a lot to talk about.

This Friday Moda is hitting Leeds for a special party, celebrating the imminent release of the Moda Music compilation. Jaymo & Andy George, Tom Staar and Scottish wonderkid Ado will be inciting dance-moves off all varieties, as we turn the Mint Club into a sweating mass of nocturnal japery. 

With its ridiculously sick sound system, low ceilings and dark basement vibe, it's no surprise that Erol Alkan recently described this venue as one of his favourite places to play.
